“The global influence of European Union law: transparency vs. privacy” (#Juniors2Seniors with Amanda Lemos, Pedro Froufe and João Marques)

This #Juniors2Seniors (Espaço UNIO, CitDig) edition is led by Amanda Lemos (PhD candidate at School of Law, University of Minho, in co-supervision with University of Brasília) and addresses the theme of the global influence of European Union law (that is, the way how EU use its regulatory standard to exercise diplomacy of influence in others latitudes) from the perspective of the necessary practical agreement among transparency and privacy (or, more specifically, between access to information and personal data protection). Amanda Lemos has as guests Pedro Froufe (Professor at School of Law, University of Minho and former Member of Commission for Access to Administrative Documents – CADA in Portugal) and João Marques (Lawyer and former Member of the Portuguese Data Protection ity – CNPD).
