In this session, it was sought to clarify that, beyond political and communicational rhetoric, little is being done to achieve the climate goals of the Paris Agreement (2015). In fact, the European Union seems to be an almost isolated space in its determination to comply with the plans to decarbonize the economy – which depend, to a large extent, on digital technologies. The United States, accompanied by many other countries, talks a lot about the Environment and Climate but concrete actions are rare. China always says yes, but always does not. Countries whose economies are developing ensure that solving the problem is the sole responsibility of the biggest polluters. Are there real hypotheses for environmental and climate policies? The European test will be decisive.
