“Citizens pro Europe” (Research Coffee format with Teresa Freixes)

In the "Research Coffee" format of the "UNIO Space" distinguished personalities are interviewed for their contribution to European legal integration. In this edition of "Research Coffee" Teresa Freixes is interviewed – Jean Monnet "ad personam" Chair, Emeritus Professor of Constitutional Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, President of the non-profit association "Citizens pro Europe" based in Brussels, among many distinctions. The interview was conducted by Alessandra Silveira, director of the UNIO platforms, addressing issues related to the EU's response to the invasion of Ukraine, the promotion of European values in the face of populism and nationalism, the federative solutions engineered to tackle the pandemic, as well as the intervention of the association "Citizens pro Europe" in the "Conference on the Future of Europe" for the purposes of consolidating European citizenship.
