“Ecological transition as a just transition: innovation for biosustainability in the EU” (#Juniors2Seniors with Nataly Machado, Cláudia Pascoal and Fernanda Cássio)

This edition of #Juniors2Seniors is entitled “Ecological transition as a just transition: innovation for biosustainability in the EU”, and is led by Nataly Machado (PhD student at School of Law with a research grant from the Foundation for Science and Technology). This young researcher has been dealing with the ecological transition that, under the European Green Deal, is intended to be a just transition, questioning what this means and what legal implications this concept actually has. Nataly Machado has as guests Fernanda Cássio (Professor at School of Sciences of UMinho, former director of the Center for Molecular and Environmental Biology) and Cláudia Pascoal (Professor at School of Sciences of UMinho, Director of the Institute of Science and Innovation for Biosustainability).
