In this session, it was sought to clarify that, in an increasingly digital reality, AI offers unique and relevant opportunities in the most diverse sectors, such as health, finance, transport, industry and education. AI allows you to automate numerous tasks, optimize processes, and make decisions based on data and knowledge. The ability to identify, predict and anticipate is a key asset for companies, individuals and groups. However, AI also poses risks related to lack of transparency of complex models, discrimination caused by data used for model creation, privacy of individuals due to massive data collection, etc. The concentration of power in the development of AI systems is still a crucial issue. AI is shaping our future, influencing jobs/health/education – and even our understanding of what it means to be human. As a society, we need to understand this reality and debate the ethical and safety dilemmas it raises, ensuring that AI is used for the common good.
